International Anxiety Disorders Symposium 2011
We would like to warmly invite you to join us at the International Anxiety Disorders Symposium (IADS) 2011 that will take place in Amsterdam on May 24 and 25, 2011.
Anxiety disorders are the most prevalent of all psychiatric disorders. Disabling as they are for patients and costly for society, they warrant special attention. To date, however, there are hardly any top level platforms where these disorders are specifically discussed.
Therefore we are pleased to announce ‘IADS 2011’, the symposium which embodies the collaboration between Stellenbosch University, Cape Town and the Academic Medical Centre, University of Amsterdam.
At ‘IADS 2011’ key opinion leaders in the field of anxiety disorders will review and discuss the most topical information on diagnosis, pathogenesis and treatment of these conditions. The scientific committee has once again composed a well balanced programme in which recent developments and future perspectives in anxiety disorders and related disciplines will be presented. The symposium will serve as a forum for (medical) specialists from all over the globe.
In short, the International Anxiety Disorders Symposium 2011 is a dedicated platform, where scientific research and clinical advances on anxiety disorders meet and where researchers and clinicians will strengthen their partnerships.
We look forward to welcoming you in Amsterdam!
